HOW TO NOMINATE
Each registered member who has made their $100 donation is eligible to nominate a local not for profit or charity to receive a portion of the group donation. A Nomination form must be submitted for each not for profit or charity you are nominating.
Click here to confirm the charity you are nominating is a registered organization. All nominations will be confirmed that they meet the nomination criteria before they are posted online for viewing. Here's the difference between a charity and not for profit.
Organizations under consideration to receive a portion of the group donation must serve the Campbell River area and be a local organization. They must agree to the terms of the nomination form.
A member of the organizing committee will confirm that the nomination meets criteria. Someone will contact the nominee within a few days of the submission if there is a problem. Approved nominations will be posted online for viewing to provide members information about the organization and project.
Approved nominations will be invited to host an information table about their not for profit or charity at the event.
For a not for profit or charity to be eligible to be considered to receive a portion of the group donation, a nomination form must be completed and submitted.

HOW TO VOTE
Each registered member who has submitted a member commitment form and made their $100 donation is eligible to vote. Voting takes place at a cocktail reveal party. The members will vote by secret ballot to determine the two organizations that received the highest number of votes. There is no proxy voting so you must be in attendance to vote. If a tie persists, a draw will be made of the tied organizations. The two organizations with the highest member votes will each receive a $5000+ donation.
