Nominated charities must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a registered charity
- Charity must have a local presence in our community
- Charity must use the funds within the community
- Charity must issue a charitable donation receipt to every member
- Charity agrees they will not use the membership list to solicit further funds
- Selected charity must attend the next meeting to share how they used the funds
How to nominate a charity:
- Ensure your charity meets the above criteria
- Fill out the Nomination Form
- Prepare a 5 minute verbal presentation that you or another member will give if your charity is drawn at the meeting
- Provide the organizing committee with a copy of your presentation if you or anohter member is unable to present and a member of the organizing committee will present on your behalf
